Boris Beshev Statement:
There has always been an undeniable connection between music and design. Music like design is also mathematical and is structured to create a harmonious or distorted piece of art, visually or in audio. In Time Signatures, I am investigating the relationship between a fluid piece of music and a static graphical pattern, where the imagery will act as a visual representation for the piece of music. The backgrounds of each poster represent a different time signature and the overlapping shapes represent the individual sounds that are heard throughout the track.
