Katia Hunt Thesis Statement
Are You Listening to Me?
I consider these videos to be abstractions, using color to tease out the diversity that lies within the individuals depicted. This body of work is a deeper investigation into my daily interactions with people who willing share stories about themselves. It is a way for me to learn more about these people on a personal level, and a way for the viewing audience to become more familiar with others who are different, slowly exposing them to members of various cultural backgrounds through language and color.
