Barbara Eberhard, adjunct lecturer of photography at University of St. Francis exhibits a collection of her Gum Bichromate prints in Barbara Eberhard: An Alternate View. Gum Bichromate is an alternative printing process that dates back to the 1880’s. Working in gum enables Barbara to become more engaged in the creation of her images. For Ms. Eberhard, the process of Gum Bichromate provides a hands-on, manipulative, yet meditative experience while creating an image that lends itself to a dream-like quality.
