Courtney Barnett’s debut album is a compulsive listen. You want to play the album over and over again. One can easily identify with the affable and entertaining Barnett. She is charming live and the refinement found in the studio only enhances her adeptness as a lyricist and songwriter. From Elevator Operator to Stair Androids & Valley Um… there is a focused flow that ends with a reminder that you should flip the vinyl over and give it another spin.
